TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercise) Classes 

 

If stress and tension live in the body then the body is also the path to positive recovery. Sometimes you just can’t think yourself out of stress and tension, you need a body-based entry point.

So many are living in a stressed state. So many don’t even know it. The ‘just keep going’ mantra eventually leads to being stuck in a physical and mental funnel of exhaustion. Cue burnout, low energy, insomnia, aches and pains, guilt for not doing it all and zero focus on what is really important – your health, healing and wellbeing.

TRE is a series of simple body movements and exercises to help you access your own internal resources for releasing tension and letting the body recover from everyday stressors. 

 

Neurogenic movement in the body is the future of wellness.  It is different from talk therapy (which only activates one layer of cognition).  Shaking medicine activates our entire neurology and uplevels our cells making them well and super smart.

The human body possesses a natural shaking reflex that releases stress and tension below the level of our conscious awareness.  This reflex is not the result of fear, stress, loss of control but rather one of the ways the body releases muscular tension, relaxes the nervous system and restores our mind and body to a balanced state.  It is a natural response that can only take a few minutes and can even be done lying in your own bed!

TRE is an empowering self-help & self-care technique you can do anywhere.

TRE 1:1 and group in-person sessions take one hour and include deep rest & recovery. All equipment is provided including a mat, blanket, and pillow.
